(abbreviation) a Latin phrase meaning "and all" or "and others". Usually used as an abbreviation of 'et alii'('and other men' masculine plural) , 'et aliae' ('and other women' feminine plural) or 'et alia' ('and other things' neuter)

 a Latin term meaning "and wife".

(abbreviation) executor

executor, executrix

A person appointed in a will (and affirmed by the probate court) to act as the legal representative handling the distribution of the decedent's estate in accordance with the will, and to carry out the wishes expressed in the will. (The person who makes the will is called a testator.) If a woman is appointed, she is referred to as the executrix. It is no longer necessary to differentiate these terms on the basis of gender, butjudges often still do so in judgements.
